Responsibilities
- Safe Transit: Deliver packages to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner across the Washington area.
- Efficient Loading: Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles efficiently, ensuring items are secure for transit.
- Accuracy Check: Verify items against delivery tickets and obtain customer signatures to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues with a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Vehicle: Access to a reliable, insured personal vehicle (or willingness to utilize company fleet).
- Technology: Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps and GPS navigation.
- Soft Skills: Strong customer service skills, punctuality, and a professional demeanor.
