Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Secure cargo and perform proper loading/unloading procedures.
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers throughout the route.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance.
