Responsibilities
- Execute safe and timely delivery of parcels and packages to residential and commercial clients in Washington DC.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and proper lifting techniques to ensure safety.
- Navigate complex traffic patterns in the District of Columbia using GPS and route planning tools.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic signatures upon successful drop-off.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery exceptions immediately to the dispatch team.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or CDL Class B preferred) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with immediate availability.
- Physical stamina to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Familiarity with basic smartphone technology for navigation and logging.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
