Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods within Albuquerque and surrounding areas
- Load and unload shipments with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route changes
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Albuquerque streets and GPS navigation
- Reliable transportation to/from starting location
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible shift availability
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
