Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses within Detroit metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution hub when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metro area streets and neighborhoods
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must be available Saturdays and Sundays (flexible weekday availability a plus)
- Smartphone with GPS navigation capability
- Reliable transportation to/from distribution hub
