Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial destinations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency and punctuality
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers via mobile app
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
- Uphold company safety standards and traffic regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Experience with GPS navigation and mobile technology
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 6am-6pm)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
