Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated locations in El Paso and surrounding areas.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers to confirm delivery and handle any questions or issues with a positive attitude.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, including regular inspections.
- Utilize handheld devices and route planning software to optimize delivery routes and track progress.
- Handle package handling with care to ensure integrity during transit.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery exceptions to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with GPS and mobile technology is highly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for local driving tasks if required.
