Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods within Columbus metropolitan area
- Verify delivery addresses, load/unload cargo, and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and handle delivery inquiries professionally
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and GPS routing instructions
- Manage time efficiently to meet weekend delivery schedules and deadlines
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to dispatch team in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience (delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs/deliveries
- Strong knowledge of Columbus area and major roadways
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
