Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages within designated Charlotte metro areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Handle special delivery requirements with attention to detail
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 7am-7pm)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Charlotte road network preferred
