Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods throughout Baltimore
- Load/unload shipments efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes for timely weekend service
- Communicate delivery status and issues to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore city streets and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery apps
- Reliable weekend availability (Saturdays & Sundays)
- Pass background check and drug screening
