Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within Austin metro area
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all packages handled
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and update customer status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Austin streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible start times
- Pass background check and drug screening
