Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in the Albuquerque area.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring items are handled with care and placed securely in the delivery vehicle.
- Interact professionally with customers, managing delivery expectations and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Verify delivery accuracy by obtaining signatures or using proof-of-delivery technology.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies to minimize risk and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License issued by the state of New Mexico (Class C or higher).
- Clean driving record with no serious violations within the last 3 years.
- Access to a reliable vehicle (or willingness to use a company vehicle) with valid insurance and registration.
- Basic smartphone literacy to navigate routes and complete digital paperwork.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills to ensure packages are delivered within the promised time window.
- Must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays as required.
