Responsibilities
- Safely navigate DC metropolitan area using company-provided vehicles
- Deliver packages and documents to residential/commercial addresses
- Verify recipient identity and obtain signatures for high-value shipments
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report delivery exceptions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with Washington DC street layout and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
