Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and food orders promptly to customers within Philadelphia city limits
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof of delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Ensure vehicle safety through pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery time
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse locations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year)
- Reliable personal vehicle or access to one (company vehicles may be available)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and occasional holidays
- Smartphone with GPS capability and reliable internet access
