Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Oakland
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking using our mobile app
- Verify recipient identities and obtain required signatures for high-value items
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers in real-time
- Handle returns and exchanges according to company protocols
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and defensive driving practices
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution center when needed
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Familiarity with Oakland neighborhoods and major routes
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery app navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Background check and drug screen required
