Responsibilities
- Safely navigate Los Angeles metropolitan routes using company-provided GPS systems
- Deliver packages, food, and retail items within promised time windows (11AM-8PM shifts)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures/confirmations
- Inspect vehicles daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
- Strong knowledge of LA geography and traffic patterns
- Flexible availability for Saturday/Sunday shifts (12-16 hours/week)
- Background check and drug test required (company-provided)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
