Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Kansas City metro area
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet weekend delivery windows
- Provide exceptional customer service during package interactions and address delivery inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and customer concerns
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shift
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Kansas City streets
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to and from depot for shift start/end
- Positive attitude and commitment to weekend availability
