Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and food orders throughout New Orleans
- Efficiently navigate urban routes using GPS while adhering to traffic laws
- Load/unload merchandise with care and verify delivery accuracy
- Provide outstanding customer service during drop-offs and address inquiries
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible start times
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans neighborhoods and street layouts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
