Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses within Phoenix and surrounding areas
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals and minimize fuel consumption
- Verify package contents, obtain customer signatures, and document delivery exceptions
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly interactions and professional problem-solving
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery procedures
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and update delivery status in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong familiarity with Phoenix metro area streets and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability and constant connectivity
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM shifts)
- Background check and drug screening required upon hiring
