Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries across Seattle metropolitan area
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Washington state traffic laws and Seattle metropolitan routes
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
