Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries across Philadelphia metropolitan area
- Perform thorough pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance documentation
- Maintain precise delivery schedules with GPS tracking and route optimization
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or secure transport protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and customer communications
- Complete post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HAZMAT regulations when applicable
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement (Pennsylvania state license)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday, 6 AM - 6 PM shifts)
- Knowledge of Philadelphia traffic patterns and regional highways
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening
