Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53ft dry van reefers) on dedicated weekend routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of temperature-sensitive cargo
- Represent Nashville Logistics Solutions with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
