Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight on schedule.
- Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety.
- Freight Management: Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring all goods are secure for transport.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Route Navigation: Utilize GPS and map reading skills to navigate Las Vegas and surrounding areas efficiently.
- Customer Interaction: Represent the company professionally during pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Current, valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Driving History: Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Condition: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
