Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedule changes.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and maintained in top condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and load handling.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
