Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) on assigned routes across New York and Florida.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securement and handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations, ensuring packages are handled with care.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel between New York and Florida regions.
