Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adapt to real-time delivery changes and priorities
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with San Jose and Bay Area geography
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication tools
