Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and electronic documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to work weekends and maintain a flexible schedule.
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation.
