Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold the company's high standards for safety and customer service at every stop.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (Tanker/Hazmat preferred but not required).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and a satisfactory background check.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work weekends.
