Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery and transport assignments
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient routes while maintaining delivery timelines
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Document delivery logs and handle paperwork with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
