Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for weekend delivery routes across Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance requirements
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to maximize efficiency
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Dallas/Fort Worth roadways and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements (Hazmat a plus)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile technology
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screening clearance
