Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Secure cargo using proper straps, chains, and bars to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to shippers, receivers, and the general public.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for 90 days.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules.
