Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods within Columbus metropolitan area
- Strictly adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Load/unload shipments efficiently with proper equipment handling
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status and route conditions
- Ensure timely weekend deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Columbus area roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging
