Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on assigned weekend routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight accurately, adhering to safety protocols and securing cargo properly.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route updates.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
