Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans and delivery trucks to transport goods to various locations in the Washington DC metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and mechanical integrity of the vehicle.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients, providing a positive brand experience.
- Prepare and maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and paperwork.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicle at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of Washington, DC, and the surrounding metropolitan area.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and navigation systems.
