Responsibilities
- Safely and timely delivery of parcels and goods to designated addresses throughout San Jose and the surrounding Bay Area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in optimal condition.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in compliance with company standards.
- Interact professionally with clients and customers at every stop.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent Class 5 license with clean driving history.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong navigation skills and proficiency with smartphone GPS apps.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
