Responsibilities
- Safely operate cargo vans to deliver packages and supplies to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 points)
- Minimum 2 years of professional van driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Background check and drug test clearance required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
