Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for local and regional deliveries in the Charlotte metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route
- Load/unload packages with care to ensure zero damage
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes to meet tight delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area streets and highways
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
