Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials across Virginia Beach and surrounding areas
- Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring proper handling and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route records using GPS tracking systems
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with mobile technology and basic navigation apps
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available for early morning shifts (5:00 AM start)
