Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods throughout Portland metro area
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and securement protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using GPS navigation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or Class C with passenger endorsement
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Proficiency with mobile delivery tracking applications
- Strong knowledge of Portland street networks and traffic patterns
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
