Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vans and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently throughout the Minneapolis metro area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring packages are secure and damage-free.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork for each route.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and vendors at drop-off points.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate any delays or issues to the dispatch team immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, or a valid state driver's license.
- Achieved and maintained a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly without assistance.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to follow GPS routes and adhere to schedules.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify potential vehicle issues before departure.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
- Basic computer literacy for logging daily activities.
