Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and materials across San Jose and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness standards
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and verify inventory accuracy
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and handle physical work
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
