Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans and delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, including fuel levels and tire pressure.
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the vehicle are kept clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles streets, traffic patterns, and navigation tools.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic proficiency with handheld scanners or delivery management software.
