Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery and pickup of cargo within a specific territory.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and placed securely in the vehicle.
- Inspect the van daily for mechanical issues, report any damages, and ensure the vehicle is clean and presentable.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures for all deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients during interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Previous experience driving a cargo van or box truck is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local streets and traffic patterns in the Colorado Springs area.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
