Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver packages and goods to designated addresses in Arlington and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or handwritten signatures from recipients.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure zero accidents.
- Use handheld devices to log delivery information, update GPS, and communicate with the dispatch team.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly without assistance.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging deliveries and navigating GPS systems.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the company depot.
