Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for time-sensitive deliveries across Chicagoland
- Maintain precise delivery schedules using GPS routing systems
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and inventory checks
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and problem-solving abilities
- DOT medical certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check clearance required
