Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for local and regional deliveries within Oakland and surrounding Bay Area
- Load, unload, and verify shipment contents upon delivery/pickup
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Communicate delivery status and issues to dispatch team
- Assist with basic warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic navigation knowledge of Oakland/Bay Area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning/late evening shifts
