Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and supplies to commercial and residential locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and meet tight delivery deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Load/unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity of Chicago metropolitan area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
