Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials across designated routes in Tucson and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery points and pickup locations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to minimize fuel consumption and maximize productivity
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or road hazards promptly to the operations manager
- Maintain clean and organized cargo area to protect inventory and ensure compliance with safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with vehicles under 26,000 lbs GVWR
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Tucson metropolitan area and surrounding routes
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Strong communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery tracking systems
