Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans and box trucks to transport goods to residential and commercial locations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring all items are secured properly.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon successful delivery.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and delivery paperwork.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Previous experience driving box trucks or delivery vans is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems.
