Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Safely operate commercial vans to deliver goods to designated locations on assigned routes.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all paperwork (bills of lading, manifests) is completed correctly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to delivery schedules and handling client interactions professionally.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized to ensure a professional image and safe driving conditions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or professional capacity.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Strong knowledge of local Seattle, WA, geography and traffic patterns.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and tracking inventory.
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
